Something Remembered

Hey, juz wanna shared something from yesterday's nite Tong2-Gong1-Pei2-Xun4-Ban1 (Bible study class) by my pastor, Rev Choi.

He mentioned the context of God's answer in the form of Yes, No, Wait and yes, Silence.

Yes - We all know this. Luv this, and can almost readily embraces these kind of answers...... (yeah, paraphrase by me u guessed it.)

No - We all hate this mostly, and almost could not understand why. Well, its still an answer.

Wait - Yeah, pastor gave a funni illustration on this. He quoted if Jolin (my church mate's daughter, 7 years old) prayed for a boyfriend, well, wat do u thnk God will say? Tat same why at times, God answers.......wait.

Silence - Nothing said. Nothing, like a train going thru a dark long tunnel, darkness, uncertainity,............my, tats surely what i am feeling now on the work place situation.....what is God trying to tell me? Rev Choi gave an insight into this thru Job's life........

Job has a bad event, well, a whole string of em we all know in the beginning of Job. 37 chapters and God spoke nothing to Him......he prayed, he cried out, he was etc etc etc.....Wat am i learning from this?

Rev Choi goes on to share abt the Books of Wisdom in the Bible - Beginning wif Job, going into Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and finally Song of Solomon.

So is our way to gain wisdom.
Well, how does it goes? Stay tuned. I will digest and key in wat i learned abt it tomolo.
