Beginning of the Week

Eloz folks,

Yupz, its the beginning of the week again!
We had a very interesting event in church last week! Lou1 Hei2
Yupz, our faith target of 100 person has been 99% met, yupz, 99 folks turned up!
Of which, my mom and my youngest auntie also were there! haha, praise the Lord!
=) I am glad that my very devout Buddhist cum erm, Tianfa blah auntie got to see wat the Christians gathering is like.

Was a bit worried about why Angeline nv turned up. Maybe too much St John concept inside. That when someone say coming but din turn up = accident.......but aniwae, was glad to hear her safe at home, resting......she definately do not have enuf rest i believe. Isiah 40:31 is what i am hoping for her.

Was glad to do some catching up wif one of my cadets, now a senior NCO. Very responsible gal. I am praying that she will be open to the Gospel too. Invited her for the Lou Hei too, but unfortunately, dumb chingay dun allow tat.

Last week was also the week where i had a record number of non updates here. Well, it was still new year's week, maybe tats why.

Sermon msg yesterday along with one of the song "The Lord Who Loves You Wholeheartedly" really ministered to me very much. The msg is on The Lord is my Comforter. Yupz, indeed, it began with man = weak. We need the Lord.

And when we fail, like the example taken from the life of 1King 19 - Elijah, I am reassured that God will indeed provide the jar of water and bread. Also, i was reminded that the Lord's providence then is able to sustain supernaturally, coz did u see in v4-8? 2 meals lasted 40 days......very interesting.

I was also reminded that usually such downs come along after a spiritual "high".
Yupz, must remember tat.

Oh yar, for those praying for me - prayer request
1) My youths' ministry is undergoing changes. As in we are seeking the Lord as to how we can conduct the saturdays mtgs, and possibly sunday's fellowship. Pray that we will know what the Lord wants for them, that will interest em to walk closer to God. - much closer.......more personally

2) Pray that a small grouping which we have more or less arranged amongst ourselves, that all 4 of my co-workers (vict, sally, kk and me) will be effective. Indeed, personal ground work needs to be laid. Pray for my own group of 4 (cannot reveal names yet) that I will have the wisdom and sensitivity and willingness to help em grow.

3) Pray that my directions in my work will be clear soon..........

4) I am currently trying to do this St John First Aid syllabus thingy, pray that i have the discipline and time and wisdom to know how to go about doing it.
